Review process

The journal "Acta Progressio Scientiarum" utilizes a double-blind peer review process.

A review is an evaluative analysis of a submission for publication to a scientific journal. A review is an independent, written work completed by experts in the subject area to which the article under review belongs. A review assists the editorial board in making publishing decisions and may help the author(s) improve their work.

Reviewers adhere to the publication ethics and adhere to the following principles: confidentiality, objectivity, impartiality, clarity, and well-reasoned expression of opinions. They also adhere to the principles of recognizing primary sources and the inadmissibility of peer review. Reviewers are informed that the manuscripts submitted to them are the private property of their authors and are classified as confidential information.

The author of the work under review receives the text of the review. The review is provided to the author(s) of the manuscript without a signature or indication of the reviewer's name, position, or affiliation.

Articles submitted for review must meet all the journal's formal requirements and have successfully passed the plagiarism check.

The review period is 2 (two) weeks.

A positive review is not sufficient grounds for publication. The final decision on the advisability of publishing an article is made by the journal's editorial board.
